Former Foxtel executive to head up new music promoter

Independent promotion company, Destroy All Lines, has launched a country music division to be headed up by experienced former Foxtel/CMC executive, Danny Keenan.

According to Pollstar, Destroy All Lines is Australia’s fourth largest concert promoter, and the largest independent promoter – selling in excess of 700,000 tickets in the past 12 months.

“I am thrilled to be joining Australia’s #1 independent promoter Destroy All Lines,” Keenan said.

“Their vision and growth is really exciting and I’m loving every minute. My ten years at CMC and involvement with CMC Rocks has given me a holistic view of the global country music environment and I can’t wait to deliver some of that talent to Australia.

“Plus, we’ve got a few other things in store.”

Keenan worked at Foxtel between 2010-2020, most recently working as head of artist and music industry relations – music and arts channels.

Destroy All Lines formed in 2003, and is responsible for Good Things Festival, and Knotfest Australia.

The company also launched a comedy division last year.

General manager Chris O’Brien said: “We are absolutely thrilled that Danny has joined Destroy All Lines heading up our Country division. Danny’s background in country music is second to none and his knowledge and experience will help deliver incredible artists to Australia.”
