Peter Wiltshire, Nine’s former chief revenue officer and group sales and marketing director, has launched advertising representation business, WeThinkMedia.
Wiltshire left Nine in March last year, subsequently joining Q&A Startup Echofield’s advisory board and advertising and content network Medical Channel as a non-executive director.

He was also working with Mediaworks on a ‘short to medium term’ consulting contract.

WeThinkMedia has already landed its foundation client, Mediaworks New Zealand and will hold exclusive representation rights for the New Zealand broadcaster, across its TV, radio and digital platforms.
The company will look to service other clients in the media industry which are seeking Australian representation.
However, Wiltshire will not be involved in running the sales house’s day-to-day operation. According to the announcement: “Wiltshire will provide strategic counsel while continuing to focus on his active consulting and directorship portfolio.”
Wiltshire said: “The opportunity for a new, boutique media representation business offering expert and highly personalised service has become apparent through my extensive advisory work for a broad range of clients.
“We’re proud to launch with MediaWorks as our foundation client and we thank them for selecting us to help grow their Australian advertising client base.

Business operations will be handled by Jane Stucci who joins as head of sales from her previous role as national television sales director for Southern Cross Austereo.
Stucci will work alongside Gaylene Riminton and Emma Thomas.
Wiltshire added: “I’m also delighted to welcome Jane Stucci as head of sales, who will run the day-to-day business and manage the sales team. Jane’s broad industry relationships and experience across the Australian and international marketing and advertising community superbly qualify her for the role.”
Glen Kyne, MediaWorks’ chief commercial officer said he was thrilled to work with Wiltshire and launch the business.
“His reputation, depth of experience and knowledge and intimacy with the local market, bring great benefit to MediaWorks in broadening our brand offering in Australia. Also, having met and spent quality time with Jane, we have great confidence in the leadership she will bring to the market on behalf of MediaWorks.”
Commenting on her appointment, Stucci said: “It’s fantastic to be working with Peter to launch WeThinkMedia and to have MediaWorks as our foundation client.
“Though I’ve lived in Australia for many years I’m still a passionate Kiwi so am thrilled to share MediaWorks’ extraordinary offer as New Zealand’s largest independent broadcaster with the Australian client and agency market.”
WeThinkMedia’s representation of MediaWorks is effective immediately and the business officially launches at Easter.
