Fortissimo picks up Wasted on the Young
Wasted on the Young has been picked up by Dutch company Fortissimo Films for worldwide sales rights outside Australia and New Zealand.
The deal for Ben C. Lucas’ feature debut, produced by Janelle Landers and Aidan O’Bryan at WBMC, was finalised at the Hong Kong Filmart by Fortissimo chairman Michael J. Werner.
The film stars Oliver Ackland, Adelaide Clemens and Alex Russell, and it is the story of a traumatic incident at a high school party that sets off a fatal chain of events where two brothers must place their lives at the mercy of popular opinion.
