Megan Barnard joins Fox Sports News

Megan BarnardSky News’ sports reporter Megan Barnard has joined the Fox Sports News team as a presenter and reporter.

The announcement:

Megan Barnard, one of Australia’s most promising and talented sports presenters, today joined Fox Sports News as presenter and reporter.

Megan’s passion and depth of knowledge across all sports makes her the perfect addition to Fox Sports News’ presenting team.

As a presenter and reporter for Australia’s only 24-hour sports news channel, Megan joins the likes of Tim Sheridan, Matt Shirvington, Nick McArdle, Warren Smith, Ben Way, Sarah Jones, Neroli Meadows and Tom Chadwick.

Megan said: “Joining Fox Sports News is the ultimate job for a sports nut like me. I feel truly lucky to have the opportunity to work alongside some of the best sports presenters in Australia.

“All my life I’ve grown up in and around a wide range of sports, and I’m an avid consumer and spectator of all codes. I’m thrilled to be joining Australia’s only 24- hour sport news channel,” she said.

Megan’s signing with Fox Sports News follows the appointment of new Fox Sports Football Presenter Tara Rushton in September.  Prior to her appointment with Fox Sports News, Megan was a sports presenter, reporter and producer with Sky News National – presenting live national daily news and hosting the channels flagship sports programs Sportsnight and Sportsline – a role she held since 2007.
