Foxtel announces a 24/7 channel dedicated to Bathurst 1000

Fox Sports will launch a 24/7 channel dedicated to the Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000, including start-to-finish coverage of the race.

FOXTEL TO GO THE DISTANCE AT BATHURST 1000 IN 2019

Supercars drivers and legends have waved the green flag on FOX SPORTS’ dedicated 24/7 Bathurst channel for 2019 today in Sydney today ahead of the Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000 on Sunday, October 13.

Foxtel subscribers will receive the most comprehensive start-to-finish coverage of the Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000, with every session LIVE including the Top Ten Shootout and the Great Race LIVE in HD and ad-break free during racing on FOX SPORTS 506 and Foxtel GO.

Before history is made on Sunday, October 13 at Mount Panorama, the pop-up Bathurst channel will feature new entertainment programs, classic Bathurst 1000 races, and behind-the-scenes access and insight available nowhere else.

At Bathurst in 2019, the best commentary team in Supercars will assemble on FOX SPORTS with reigning Bathurst 1000 champion Craig Lowndes joining Mark Skaife and Jess Yates to give Foxtel audiences exclusive insight and analysis, plus Chris Stubbs will have all the latest breaking news.

The team is joined by Supercars commentator Neil Crompton, pit lane commentator Greg Murphy, technical analyst Mark Larkham, and pit lane reporter Riana Crehan.

Dedicated 24/7 Bathurst Channel line-up/highlights:

From Monday, October 7 at 12.00am – the dedicated channel switches on and viewers can build up to the Bathurst 2019, and over a full day can relive all the classic races, legendary cars and drivers that have taken on the mountain.

Monday, October 7 at 7.30 pm – The Loud Pedal Podcast: Bathurst Special, hosted by Chris Stubbs and Lee Holdsworth, premieres with some of biggest names in Supercars joining them to lift the bonnet and reveal Bathurst stories that haven’t been told before.

Guests will include defending Bathurst winner Craig Lowndes, current series leader Scott McLaughlin, and seven-time series champion Jamie Whincup.

Wednesday, October 9 at 4:30 pm – Supercars Trackside: We’re LIVE from the mountain for the first time in 2019 as Jess Yates, Mark Skaife, and Craig Lowndes preview the big weekend ahead.

Wednesday, October 9 at 7.30 pm – Bathurst Winners Debrief relives the 2018 fairytale victory for Craig Lowndes and Steven Richards when they sit down together in the FOX SPORTS theatre to reminisce about conquering the mountain 12 months ago, giving viewers never seen before insight.

Thursday, October 10 at 9.55 am – the Supercars climb the mountain for the first time with Neil Crompton and Mark Skaife behind the microphone for every Supercars session, with Jess Yates covering all the big talking points from the panel. Plus, special guests from the international motorsport world will feature across the weekend.

Friday, October 11 at 6.30 pm – Pit Lane LIVE and it’s time for some Friday night fun in front of a LIVE audience. Neil Crompton hosts the annual pit lane spectacular from Mount Panorama. See a different side of the drivers as they take on some unusual challenges, and of course we’ll find out who wins the Golden Rattle Gun Trophy in the PIRTEK Pit Stop Challenge.

Saturday, October 12 at 5.05 pm – the Top Ten Shootout and the intensity on track goes up a gear. Who will be the fastest man around the mountain in 2019?

Sunday, October 13 at 11.30 am – it’s time for 1000km ad-break free and only on FOX SPORTS. Who will conquer the mountain in 2019?
