FreakOut appoints Tasneem Ali to lead Australian and New Zealand operations

Singapore based, marketing technology service, FreakOut has expanded its operations to Australia, appointing Tasneem Ali to lead the local office.

FreakOut, a global marketing technology company, part of FreakOut Holdings Inc [TSE:6094], has announced its expansion into Australasia, Middle East and Russia & CIS. FreakOut has appointed senior leadership to drive growth in these regions as part of its commitment to deliver best-in-class service and expanded geographical coverage.

Narayan Ivaturi, Vice President – FreakOut commented: “When FreakOut selects new geographies, the decision is based on the needs of our clients and agency partners. The demand for our mobile marketing solutions, specifically programmatically available mobile-first in-feed display and video products, demonstrates a huge opportunity in these markets. In Australia alone, Mobile Native Advertising will drive 74% of all ad revenue by 2021. Moreover, in addition to servicing local needs, FreakOut can also launch overseas campaigns in Japan, South East Asia, or globally in our 16 markets and more. Tasneem Ali, fondly known as Tas, has been named Managing Director, FreakOut Australia and New Zealand. With over 15 years of experience, Tas has successfully maneuvered brand campaigns for brands across Australia. In a span of 3 years, Tas took Australia’s first International University from 90% print to 90% online, bringing in revenues of over $1.5M. Prior to FreakOut, Tas was Country Manager for Kiosked, where she brought onboard and managed one of the largest media publishers in Australia. In her new role, Tas will lead business development and strategy, and strengthen FreakOut’s product partnerships with publishers.

With over 14 years of experience in digital marketing communications, Sadia Akhtar has been appointed as Managing Director, FreakOut Middle East. Alexey Romanenkov has joined the FreakOut family as General Manager, FreakOut Russia & CIS with a remarkable 20 years of digital experience in Russia.
