Assistance Dogs Australia has compiled funny home videos of dogs and their owners in a bid to get Australians to donate to the organisation.
The ad, created by Leo Burnett Sydney, begins with videos of a dog stuck in a blind, dancing, splashing in the toilet and jumping.
The commercial ends with an assistance dog pulling up the covers for his owner, Michael, with the tagline ‘Dogs can make our day, but assistance dogs can do so much more’.
Michael was a professional triathlete who was involved in a traffic accident in 2008 while bike riding in Melbourne, which subsequently left him a quadriplegic.
