Gerry Reynolds’ Medium Rare takes Foxtel magazine contract from Bauer Media
Gerry Reynolds’ Medium Rare Content Agency will publish Foxtel’s monthly magazine after winning the contract to supply publishing services from Bauer Media following a comprehensive tender process.
The contract, which covers publishing and advertising sales services, will commence with the September issue.
Foxtel general manager of communications Rhonda Dawson said in a statement: “Foxtel is home to the best in entertainment from Australia and around the world, and our magazine plays an important role in keeping our loyal customers informed about the wide range of channels and programs, services and ground-breaking broadcasting innovations.
“In Medium Rare we have chosen a partner who will help us evolve our publication in what is a very dynamic media environment.”
Medium Rare managing director Gerry Reynolds said in a statement: “We are delighted to be associated with one of Australia’s most progressive media companies. We very much look forward to offering Foxtel’s subscribers a better entertainment experience through inspiring and engaging content, and providing advertisers with opportunities to reach a highly engaged audience.”
Things just keep going from bad to worse at Bauer Media. This would have to be one of their biggest custom publishing titles after the loss of the Qantas Magazine.

Please note it was a closed tender – no one had a chance. It was only ever going to go to Medium Rare (or should we really say NEWS!)

Please note this was a closed tender – Bauer (or anyone else for that matter) never had a chance. Medium Rare (or should we say News!!) was always going to win it.
