Goldwell makes TV debut to counter supermarket brand claims

Salon-only hair colour brand Goldwell has launched its first TV ad campaign to distinguish the quality of its products from those available in supermarkets. The ad, created by Bashful, features Australia’s Next Top Model contestants Amanda Warne and Alice Burdeau.

“The campaign came from an insight that professional hair salons are forever fixing ‘at home’ hair colouring,” said Bashful founding partner and director Simon Bookallil. “As Goldwell is only available in salons, the campaign idea centres around the fact that only a professional technician, using Goldwell’s extensive range, can give you a natural looking and lasting colour.”

The TV spot goes live next month and will run for 12 weeks. It will be supported by print, online, in-salon POS and supported by social media channels.
