Government awards two-year media contract extension to UM

The Federal Government has extended its relationship with media agency UM by a further two years.

Interpublic Group’s UM, which has held the government’s media account since 2002, will handle the government’s media planning and buying up to 2014. The decision was made by the Australian Government’s Department of Finance and Deregulation.

Mat Baxter, CEO of UM Australia, said in a press release: “We will continue to perform at the highest levels and deliver superior outcomes in our tasks ahead for the Australian Government.”
