Granada Media Australia rebrands as ITV Studios Australia
Granada Media Australia, the production company behind shows such as Shaun Micallef’s Mad As Hell for ABC1 and Ten’s Talkin’ ’bout My Generation, has rebranded to ITV Studios Australia in a move that “more closely” aligns the business with its British parent.
Leonie Lowe, MD of the newly rebranded company said: “Being a part of an internationally successful and recognizable business like ITV Studios, is one of the many reasons why we are an attractive production partner in the region. This is an important step in continuing to grow our business and be even more closely aligned with our parent company; and also continues our work to establish new ITV Studios’ formats in this territory.”
The news comes as the company moves offices, to Level 5, Fox Studios Australia, Moore Park, Sydney.
In October, ITV Studios Australia hired David Galloway from Cornerbox Productions as head of factual entertainment.
