Grazia’s Kellie Hush returns to Harper’s Bazaar as editor
Grazia editor Kellie Hush is the new editor of luxury fashion magazine Harper’s Bazaar, ACP magazines has announced.
The re-shuffle comes only a year after the former SMH fashion editor took the role at Grazia, with high hopes to reverse its circulation decline.
Hush, who previously had a three-year stint as deputy editor for Harper’s Bazaar, said: “To be returning to a magazine I have loved for so long as editor is an absolute career high. It’s a challenging but exciting time for magazines right now, and I’m truly looking forward to continuing Harper’s Bazaar’s position as the fashion authority in Australia.”
Publisher Robyn Foyster said: “Harper’s Bazaar is the leading international fashion magazine brand synonymous with luxury and innovation. Kellie has a proven track record as an excellent magazine editor. She lives and breathes fashion, so it was a natural progression for her to take on the role of editor, Harper’s Bazaar.”
Hush will step into the role immediately.
Now we have 2 great young women at the helm of the best fashion mags in Oz. They will bring a lot of energy and innovation to each title. The store wars were fun, this is going to be riveting. Now all we need is Lara Bingle at the helm of Grazia and all will be well in the world of the fashionistas!

Because a magazine is very different to a disposable newspaper. Its an indulgent, an item many women get excited about purchasing, re-reading numerous times and keeping on show in their room. Individuals such as ‘fatigue’ are the demons driving the publishing industry out of business. A book/magazine is to be collected in hardcopy….not forgotten in a computer file.
