Grey wins Bayer from Loud

Grey Healthcare has won part of Bayer’s business from incumbent agency Loud.

The announcement:

Brand and digital healthcare communications specialist, Grey Healthcare Group (GHG) Australia, has been appointed as the new agency for Bayer Animal Health’s Companion Animal Products business following a competitive four-way pitch.

GHG will lead the business with the support of sister agency G2 Australia and JayGrey Sydney. Incumbent agency was Loud.

Major brands being handled by GHG include Advantage, Advantix, Advocate, Drontal and Profender, as well as 10 additional smaller brands under the Bayer banner.

The campaigns will be delivered via multiple channels including retail, digital and professional communications.

Bayer Animal Health General Manager Udo Klein commented: “My team and I are excited to be working with a truly cross‐functional agency team, a key factor which I was looking for during the agency pitch.”

GHG General Manager Elly Price said: “The brief demanded a powerful strategic campaign idea that would support the portfolio of companion animal products, as well as allow the development of commanding individual product campaigns.

“This account requires a truly collaborative approach, not only within our agency functions, but also with the team of brand managers at Bayer. It’s a great example of how to operate effectively and maintain a fun and exciting working environment.”

The appointment is effective immediately.
