Grill’d partners with Universal Pictures for Wicked: For Good experience
Grill’d is offering fans a limited-time Wicked Burger and Packs and immersive Emerald City dining experiences to celebrate the release of Wicked: For Good.

The announcement:
To celebrate the highly anticipated arrival of Wicked: For Good, Grill’d has partnered with Universal Pictures to deliver a truly spellbinding experience for fans nationwide. Grill’d restaurants across Australia will be serving the all-new Wicked Burger and Wicked Packs, available for a limited time only, while stocks last.
Via Banter, Grill’d has transformed its flagship restaurant at The Galeries, Sydney, into an immersive Emerald City experience. From 4 November to 15 December, guests will be transported into the world of Wicked, surrounded by green and pink décor, theatrical touches, and nods to the film’s most iconic moments.
Julian Dunne, CMO Grill’d said: “Last night we launched our magical new Wicked Burger in collaboration with Universal Pictures. Our Galeries restaurant was swankified and our guests experienced a truly special event. The Wicked For Good theme will run in the restaurant for the next 6 weeks so our customers can share in the incredible experience. The limited edition burgers are striking and delicious so don’t miss out.”
Andie Crawford, head of PR & social, added: “It has been an absolute joy to see our creative plans come to life working alongside Grill’d. The turnout last night is testament to how loved both brands are.”
Guests can journey through Oz-inspired spaces, featuring immersive takeover zones and insta-worthy moments, that make for a truly unforgettable, cinematic dining experience.
The star of the menu, the Wicked Burger, features a grass-fed, free-range beef patty on a limited-edition green bun, layered with Meredith Dairy goat cheese, caramelised onion, beetroot, tomato, cos lettuce, and herbed mayo – stacked with serious flavour, for the most swankified feed in town. It’s All Taste, No Regrets! No Dr. Dillamond’s were harmed in the making of this feed.
Fans can enjoy the burger on its own or as part of the Wicked Pack, served with famous Grill’d Snack Chips, Remedy Raspberry Sodaly, and a side of Emerald mayo. Younger fans can tuck into the Wicked Kids Pack, complete with a Wicked Kids Cheeseburger, Snack Chips, Remedy Raspberry Sodaly, and Emerald mayo.
Grill’d founder and managing director, Simon Crowe, said: “At Grill’d, we’re always looking for ways to create one-of-a-kind experiences that go beyond the burger, and this collaboration allows us to bring the magic of Oz into our restaurants. Whilst the Wicked burger is uniquely eye-catching, our in-house chefs have, in true Grill’d style, created an incredibly delicious, premium burger.”
Sydney’s Emerald City takeover at The Galeries offers a fun, immersive way for Wicked & Grill’d fans to step into the story and experience the magic firsthand.
“We look forward to welcoming customers across Australia to enjoy an incredible unique Grill’d experience with a touch of Oz magic.”
