GrowthOps CMO Andy Fyffe returns to Khemistry Brisbane as group cuts roles

Listed marketing and business transformation group GrowthOps has announced CMO Andy Fyffe has returned to run the company’s Brisbane creative agency Khemistry with group director, creative, Jason Polson, to take over the marketing role.

Fyffe had been Khemistry’s managing partner since the agency’s launch 13 years ago and was one of the group of business proprietors who agreed to fold their companies into Trimantium GrowthOps as part of its March 2018 ASX listing.

Mumbrella understands GrowthOps has also seen a restructure of its operations with around 16 jobs to be lost. In April, the company entered discussions to acquire Brisbane based tech consultancy, Entrago, despite reporting a $48 million loss in February.

A GrowthOps spokesperson told Mumbrella: “Andy Fyffe returned to his roots as Managing Director at GrowthOps in Brisbane, following 12 months on special-assignment in the role of GrowthOps CMO, during which time he successfully built a brand platform and marketing function for the business, and orchestrated a significant rebranding effort across our group.

“Jason Polson, joined GrowthOps back in April, in the newly created role of GrowthOps Group Director, Creative. His responsibilities include GrowthOps brand and marketing, in addition to the leadership of AJF Partnership.

“Some other changes were made to a small number of roles at GrowthOps last week to refine our offering and resource the company appropriately around the expected growth areas in the coming years.”

Polson joined GrowthOps from Clemenger BBDO Melbourne in April this year and is also responsible for leading AJF Partnership, which was acquired by GrowthOps, as managing director.
