Gruden makes four new hires

Design and software development agency Gruden has appointed four new staff following recent client wins.

Gruden have recently hired four new senior staff in their Sydney office and added another 4 to their China team as the company continues its growth and expansion after a number of recent client wins.

Gruden CEO Todd Trevillion says “With these client wins in Australia, along with some exciting ventures in China, a strong internal team is critical to our continuing success in delivering across APAC”.

In Sydney, John BouAntoun has been brought on as the new “Development Manager” after previous roles at Telstra, RogenSi and most recently four years with ninemsn in which he was Commercial Development Manager. John will lead the technical teams for all Gruden digital projects, including web, mobile, RIA & UX, both in Australia and China.

Vacating his role as National Sales Manager of Compuware, John Yarrington joins Gruden as their “Enterprise Solutions Representative”. With over twenty years’ experience, John will be the primary contact for all business enquiries relating to Adobe LiveCycle, Custom Web Development, CMS in the FSI, government and corporate markets.

To bolster their client management team, Gruden has brought on Daphne van der Kieft as “Senior Account Manager” following a 10 year career in the US, Asia and Sydney with multinational recruitment agency Aquent. She has managed client portfolios ranging from large Blue Chip Top 100 enterprise companies to multinational advertising agencies, print studios and government departments.

Nathan Harvey starts as “Marketing and Communications Manager” with a media and entertainment career spanning over twenty years. Having previously held positions at WVTP, Optus and Foxtel, his responsibilities include press and media management, PR, events and marketing.

Trevillion said: “Each of these appointments are vital to Grudens continuing plans for growth. It’s a particularly exciting time for us as a wholly owned Australian company to be expanding our operations both in Australia and Asia. Our China office has been delivering some really high quality work of late and the need to continue building up our skills and capacity in Asia is key to our strategy. The 4 new China hires will be working on some of our major clients and be focusing on Flash & Flex development as well as adding to our core .NET team.”
