GumGum makes new Australian appointments

AI advertising platform Gum Gum has announced two changes to its Australian team.

GumGum promotes Nadine Livesey to lead Publisher Development in ANZ

Also appoints former Pandora executive, Margot Bell as Senior Sales Manager, ANZ

GumGum, an artificial intelligence company with deep expertise in computer vision, today announced that it has promoted Nadine Livesey to Business Development Manager, Publisher Development, ANZ. Nadine, who was GumGum’s third hire in Australia, was previously Sales Manager, ANZ.

In her new role Nadine will be responsible for driving the expansion of GumGum’s growing premium publisher network in Australia and New Zealand. GumGum’s in-image and in-screen advertising solution scans billions of images within a website and determines what the right time, right creative and right placement are to deliver ads on top of those images. The ads are served across its premium publisher network, unlocking the value of images, whilst retaining a high-quality audience experience.

“Since launching in Australia less than two years ago, GumGum has rapidly expanded its operations as both advertisers and publishers realise the value that in-image and in-screen advertising can create,” said Jon Stubley, Managing Director of GumGum ANZ. “As one of our first employees, Nadine has played a key role in driving our advertising offer forward, and we look forward to leveraging her expertise and passion to develop our publisher footprint.”

Margot Bell will also be joining the company as Senior Sales Manager, ANZ. Margot was previously an Account Director at Pandora, where she was a 2016 finalist in the 2016 Media-i Digital Salesperson of the Year awards and the winner of the 2017 Pandora ANZ Rising Star award.

Jon Stubley added, “Margot will bring a wealth of industry experience and professional rigour to the GumGum sales team and further develop our go-to-market sales strategy in Australia and New Zealand.”

GumGum now has a monthly unique reach of over 7.5 million in Australia and 1.4 million in New Zealand, with publishers including Bauer Media and IDG, and works with leading media agencies and brands including Commonwealth Bank, eHarmony, LEGO, Meat and Livestock Australia, Microsoft, NIB, NT Tourism, PepsiCo, Taubmans and Volkswagen.
