GumGum appoints new global chief marketing officer

Digital advertising platform GumGum has announced the appointment of a new global chief marketing officer.

New York-based Kerel Cooper joins the business from Group Black, where he served as president of advertising, driving the advancement of Black-owned media. He has also served as CMO at LiveIntent, a professor at Kean University, and advisor at various media companies.

As CMO, he will be responsible for GumGum’s global marketing strategy, fostering brand and agency adoption of its advertising solutions, and driving overall growth. His experience and expertise will be necessary to navigate the challenges and opportunities facing the digital advertising industry.
