Hamish and Andy’s Gap Year continues slide
Hamish and Andy’s Gap Year has continued to slide with last night’s episode pulling in 895,000, down from 1.45 million on its debut five weeks ago.
The Nine show slipped from 993,000 last week but jumped a spot in the most-watched rankings, coming in fifth,according to preliminary metro ratings from OzTam.
The pair guest edited ninemsn yesterday to help promote the show.
Overall, Seven won the night with Today Tonight the most-watched show with 1.21 million.
Seven News and Home and Away followed in second and third spots contributing to Seven’s share of 22.3% ahead of Nine on 20.7%
Digital stations 7TWO, 7Mate and Eleven beat SBS1’s 4.2% share.

I don’t think they deserve slagging off. I saw this week’s show – I thought they’d found their feet. It was very funny. I loved the body building segment.
Unfortunately the ratings fell though.

If you remove the News & Current Affairs shows then it ranks #2 behind an established Australian staple (Home & Away)….I think that’s a great result for a show that is meant to be quirky and abstract. It’s hilarious and keep up the good work guys. My wife is even watching it so it must be pulling new Ham & Ando converts!
