Hamish & Andy win their slot while X Factor wins the night
Hamish & Andy’s Gap Year won its timeslot for Nine and raised its numbers by about 90,000 on last week, according to preliminary overnight metro ratings from OzTam.
The show – which aired at 8.30pm – rated 822,000, well up on last week’s 733,000.
However, the continued winner was Seven’s The X Factor which topped the ratings for a sluggish Thursday night with 1.284m.
However, the audience quickly drifted away for Seven, with Drug Bust at 8.30pm rating only 675,000.
This was just ahead of Rush on Ten which pulled in 660,000. On ABC1, Crownies rated 551,000.
Seven snuck in with the winning share of 21.9% just ahead of Nine by 0.1%.

Speaks for itself. Surely Nine is not going to bring back the show next year and will ask for a refund from those two. nothing Nine has done this year has worked. they are limping along with no local shows and no rating hits. viewers have even tired of Underbelly?

@davo – I think you’d find that Underbelly Razor had the highest program launch since Oz Tam launched, and is continuing to pull in mass audiences……..
