Global communications agency Havas Red has bolstered its Queensland leadership with the appointment of Nicole Streete as executive director, Brisbane, as the agency continues to expand its client base and creative footprint in the state.

Streete will lead Havas Red’s Brisbane team, driving growth and delivering standout campaigns that cut through the clutter across earned and owned channels. She will focus on extending the agency’s fully integrated offering — spanning marketing strategy, PR, social, influencer, digital, and experiential — to Queensland brands looking for bold, connected storytelling that delivers real business impact.

With 90+ people in three Australian offices, and a presence 22 international markets overall, Havas Red brings together deep expertise across corporate, consumer and brand, health, government, and technology, combining local insight with global scale.

For the past 15 years Streete has led award-winning campaigns for major local and international brands across sectors spanning lifestyle, corporate, tourism, and government. Her career includes senior roles as director of PR and communications, APAC at Superdream and at UK-based agency Liquid, as well as experience in corporate affairs at GM Holden.

“Nicole is an exceptional leader with a deep understanding of the Queensland market and a rare ability to balance strategic thinking with creative boldness,” said Shane Russell, CEO of Havas Red Australia.

“Havas Red has been active in Queensland for the past decade, and we’re committed to supporting businesses and government bodies on the ground to maximise the unprecedented opportunities leading into and beyond the 2032 Brisbane Olympics.”

Joining Havas Red at a time of significant growth, Streete said she is excited to build on the agency’s strong national footprint and extend its full creative capability to Queensland.

“Havas Red is doing incredible work for some of Australia’s and the world’s most inspiring brands, and I’m thrilled to be part of that momentum,” said Streete.

“Queensland is alive with opportunity and energy, and I’m looking forward to partnering with brands that want to tell their stories in fresh, brave, and meaningful ways.”

Havas Red continues to expand its client portfolio and integrated offering across Australia, powered by the strength and collaboration of the Havas Village, and buoyed by rising demand for bold, earned-first campaigns.
