Havas Sport and Entertainment promotes Niamh Conroy to head of partnerships and content

Havas Sports and Entertainment has promoted Niamh Conroy to the newly-created role of head of partnerships and content.

Conroy has been with Havas for five years, first at Havas Media before joining Havas Sports and Entertainment as account director, strategic partnerships and content for its launch in 2017.

Conroy has been in the Havas group for five years

In July 2018, Conroy was promoted to senior account director, strategic partnerships and content. In these roles, she has led sponsorship negotiations and executions, entertainment partnerships, and collaborations with a number of key sports and entertainment figures.

“Niamh has been an instrumental force in accelerating our growth since our launch in Australia with her strategic and creative mindset and tenacious attitude. With her commitment to driving the very best outcomes for clients, there is huge potential in what we can achieve,” said Francis Coady, Havas Sport and Entertainment’s general manager.

Conroy’s new role will see her continue to connect brands with sports and entertainment properties, and keep playing a leading role for clients including Gillette, IAG and LG.

She said of her promotion: “Since our launch, Havas Sports and Entertainment has gone from strength to strength with new clients and new challenges throwing exciting opportunities our way and the chance to genuinely create something different for brands to connect with their audiences. I’m excited by the chance to propel the business forward in the coming months.”
