Herd MSL announces two senior promotions

Herd MSL has announced a duo of senior promotions for Damian Marwood and Katarina Farrell.

We are pleased to share that Herd MSL has announced a duo of senior promotions for Damian Marwood and Katarina Farrell.

Kata Farrell: After returning from parental leave, Kata Farrell has been promoted to the role of chief growth officer, focused on new business, innovation and industry relationships. Kata has been with Herd MSL for 12 years and previously held the role of general manager (corporate). Kata’s experience is diverse across corporate and internal communications and she has worked in sectors including financial services, technology, construction, FMCG and government. Kata has led large-scale projects for the Department of Social Services, as well as for state government, including the NSW Department of Health and the NSW Office of Environment and Heritage.

Damian Marwood: Damian Marwood is permanently taking on the duties of general manager (corporate) at Herd MSL. He has been acting in the role for the past 12 months. Damian first joined the agency in 2018, having previously led corporate affairs teams within both global and domestic professional services firms and has worked in federal politics. Since joining the agency Damian has led a number of key accounts including Facebook, Uber, nbn, Audi and CreditorWatch. He also runs the agency’s media training program.

Speaking on the appointments, Herd MSL CEO, Skye Lambley said: “Damian has demonstrated amazing leadership skills over the last 12 months whilst acting in the GM role and is the perfect person to continue to drive the momentum and quality of our corporate offering. Kata has made a significant contribution to our business over the last 12 years. I am so excited to have her back in the business post maternity leave and I can’t wait to work with her to accelerate the growth of both our innovation and our clients.”
