Communications agency History Will Be Kind has appointed Niall Hughes as a senior account manager and Alistair Shields as social media manager.

Hughes joins the agency after 10 months with S2i Communications where he was also a senior account manager. He has also worked for Clairon Communications in London and Beattie Communications in London.

Shields come to the agency after seven months with Reborn where he was a senior social content and community manager. Before that he was an account executive at Ogilvy PR Australia for a year and a half.

Emma-Jane (EJ) Granleese, managing partner of HWBK, said in a statement: “We pride ourselves on the creation, planning and execution of high impact, content driven communications programmes with a channel agnostic approach. The continued growth of our team and high calibre clients is a clear testament to the value of our unique offering. Niall and Alistair make a fantastic addition to the team and I’m looking forward to making History with them.”

Hughes and Shields will be responsible for supporting clients within the agency’s client roster, including new partners Polycom and Oneflare.
