History Will Be Kind appointed comms agency retains client, wins another

Communications agency, History Will Be Kind (HWBK) has retained the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) account and added Elato Ice Cream to its portfolio.

The agency retained the account for the MSC following a number of campaigns including Sustainable Seafood Week, Prawns for Purpose, The Blue Fish Tick Challenge and the Unshellfish Choice.

HWBK founder and managing partner, Emma-Jane Granleese commented on the account wins, saying that the agency has been keen to build on its purpose-driven portfolio.

“We’re proud to expand our relationship with MSC and to welcome Elato Ice Cream to HWBK. Both organisations have amazing teams and visions, with a firm commitment to social responsibility at the core.”

“The team is focused on helping like minded brands connect with their audiences through currency-led earned story telling, rich content and tapping our rich History Makers influencer network, showcasing the incredible work that they do and the impact they have. We’re looking forward to continuing the momentum to make a real difference, encouraging Australians to make informed choices.”

HWBK said that the team will be responsible for integrated communications for MSC across earned and social channels, to raise awareness of the organisation’s “mission to help protect oceans and safeguard seafood supplies for the future, encouraging Australians to make more sustainable choices”.

MSC Oceania program director, Anne Gabriel said: “We are delighted to appoint HWBK as our retained agency of record. The team’s incisive and strategic approach to help spread the word about our important work and position MSC as a trusted voice within the sustainable seafood conversation is critical to our mission.”

For Elato, a new ice cream brand based in Melbourne, HWBK has been appointed to produce creative content and build its social media presence to “drive brand awareness and support sales and distribution nationwide”.

Other clients in the agency’s portfolio include Celebrity Cruises, Eithad Airways, Respond Global and WebJet.

HWBK part of the Deepend Group, which also includes digital agency, Deepend, How To Impact, an innovation agency and ’emerging tech’ agency, Nomad.
