Holler hires BMF’s Richard Morgan as creative director
Holler Sydney has hired BMF’s associated creative director Richard Morgan to lead its creative department. Morban will replace Tim Buesing, who left to join Publicis Mojo in November.
Mike Hill (pictured, right), Holler’s founder, said: “Richard has been pioneering digital at BMF for six years, and will bring a lot of above-the-line strategic thinking to the digital space.”
“He’s a good guy who will fit well with our culture. He’s a very inquisitive person, which is the perfect disposition for digital.”
Morgan has worked on brands such as Pacific Brands, Unilever, The Economist, Gillette, Ikea, Mars and Lion Nathan, which is a major client at Holler.
He has won gold, silver and bronze lions at Cannes, silver at D&AD, golds at the One Show, British Television Awards, Caples, Echo, London International, silvers at Clio, and five silvers and eight bronzes at Award.
Morgan began his copywriting career at The Edge Melbourne, before moving to Publicis Mojo Sydney. He then joined Abbott Mead Vickers BBDO in London before joining BMF.
Congratulation to you and Holler for attracting a great talent. Richard is a very talented above the line creative.
Seems like BMF is losing a hell of alot of talented digital people, is there a reason as to why they can’t retain them?
I hear from the cyber rumor space that Andy smith, head technical director ( BBC iplayer guru ) has also resigned. My apologies if this is wrong.
Well done again Richard and Holler

I didn’t realise Richo was digital? I guess doing a short course and not much else in digital makes you an expert.
