Home And Away wins entertainment as Seven takes Thursday
Seven’s Home And Away was the #1 entertainment program on Thursday night, as Seven also took an overall network share win.
Home And Away brought in 544,000 metro viewers, with a late viewing of Home and Away bringing in 513,000 metro viewers. Last Thursday it was Gogglebox which topped entertainment.
Gogglebox was next in entertainment and aired to a metro audience of 505,000, followed by Seven’s The Chase Australia, which had 494,000 metro viewers.
Nine’s RBT was next, pulling in 435,000 metro viewers, while Nine’s Hot Seat brought in 426,000 metro viewers.
The #1 program on Thursday was Seven News, which had an average of 953,000 metro viewers, ahead of Seven News at 6:30 with 914,00 metro viewers, Nine News had 878,000, and Nine News at 6:30 aired to 843,000 metro viewers.
As previously mentioned, Seven won the night, just pipping Nine with a network share of 27.9%, over Nine’s 27.6, while Ten had a 19.9% network share, and ABC had 14.8%.
Seven won primary channel share while the top-rating multi-channel on Thursday was 9Gem with a share of 4.6%.
In the latest Daily Consolidated Total TV Report for 21 October, Seven News was the #1 program nationally across linear television, with 1.512 million viewers including 32,000 on BVOD.
Home And Away was #1 in entertainment with 1.11 million viewers, with a BVOD audience of 152,000 views, an uplift of 21%.
The program with the biggest uplift however was Thursday’s episode of Nine’s Love Island which had a 131% uplift on overnight figures and had a total of 541,000 viewers overall, and a BVOD of 248,000 nationally.
