Hootsuite appoints Adhesive to its public relations account

Public relations agency, Adhesive, has been appointed as public relations agency of record for social media dashboard Hootsuite in Australia and New Zealand.

Adhesive is taking on Hootsuite’s B2B, corporate and corporate social responsibility communications initiatives in the region, and will be working on the brand’s events.

The agency will operate as an above-the-line partner, working with Hootsuite’s local executives, regional enterprise marketing and global communications teams.

Adhesive’s strategic and integrated approach stood out to head of marketing, Anna Koleth.

“Adhesive was the clear choice for our business, due to their strategically creative and integrated approach to communications, the team’s specialist expertise and skillset, passion for success and drive to deliver real commercial outcomes,” Koleth said.

“We are incredibly pleased to be working with the Adhesive team, who are already delivering on our expectations and objectives, and are excited for our future activities in-market.”

In May last year, Hootsuite moved its APAC headquarters from Singapore to Sydney.

Mike Maurice, founder of Adhesive, said work has already begun on the account.

“Hootsuite is an innovative company that solves their customers’ challenges through technology-led solutions. We are incredibly excited to have already started driving Hootsuite’s integrated communications objectives in Australia and New Zealand, with our appointment an exciting next step in the growth of our B2B and Corporate Communications division,” Maurice said.

Earlier this year, Adhesive was appointed by De’Longhi to manage its social media and influencer engagement.

The agency’s clients also include The Iconic, Sony Electronics Australia, Dyson, Allianz Worldwide Partners New Zealand, Singapore Tourism Board, Jansz Tasmania and Threat Quotient.
