Host to revive expansion plans with Asia launch

One of Australia’s top creative agencies, Host, is gearing up for launch in Asia.

The proposed move is a revival of the company’s expansion plans, which were put on hold following the loss of Vodafone to Ogilvy in February this year.

Agency boss Anthony Freedman confirmed that Host was launching in Asia, but would give no launch date.

“I can confirm that we’re continuing to explore opportunities in the region. And we’re encouraged by those initial explorations. But we’ve no firm date for any launch in any market,” he said.

Host, which sold part of its business to global marketing network Havas last year, has been buoyed by a string of new business wins in recent months, including PlayStation, Patak’s, a number of Campari brands and OneShift, which was announced today.
