Ten’s Hunted tops entertainment; Nine takes Tuesday

Hunted on Ten won entertainment again on Tuesday night, however, it was Nine that celebrated an overall network share win.

The episode aired to an average of 594,000 metro viewers, while also topping all three key advertising demos. 

Next in entertainment was The Chase Australia which pulled in 508,000 metro viewers, followed by Hot Seat with a metro audience of 450,000 viewers.

Home and Away on Seven was next grabbing 423,000 metro viewers, while Nine’s Beauty and the Geek brought in an average metro audience of 421,000.

In the latest Daily Consolidated Total TV Report for 19 July, Seven News was the top program nationally across linear, with 1.524 million viewers, including 44,000 on BVOD, and uplift of 3%. The program with the greatest uplift in the top 20 programs was The Good Doctor on Seven with an uplift of 49%, watched by 451,000 total TV viewers, and 41,000 on BVOD.

Seven News was the #1 metro program on Tuesday with 931,000 metro viewers, followed by Seven News at 6:30 with 878,000 metro viewers. Nine News was next with 871,000 metro viewers, and A Current Affair brought in 658,000 metro viewers. Nine News at 6:30 had 856,000 viewers.

ABC News saw 624,000 tune in, and ABC’s 7:30 News had 521,000 viewers in all five major capital cities.

As mentioned, in overall network share for Tuesday, Nine won the night with a 25.9% network share ahead of Seven’s 23.9%, Ten finished with a 22% share, while ABC had an 18.5% share.
