Hypetap hires Unruly’s Nick Robson as commercial director
Victorian influencer marketing provider Hypetap has made its first Sydney appointments, including hiring Unruly’s Nick Robson as its commercial director.
Robson joined Unruly in 2014 as a business director, before holding positions including sales director and executive group sales director.
Robson said in a statement: “Hypetap’s position as the premium provider, with its strong focus on data and technology is what really drew me to the company. I’m looking forward to growing the Sydney team and client portfolio so we can continue to deliver impactful campaigns for our clients.”
In other appointments, Naz Fathi joined Hypetap as a sales manager.
Fathi was previously a sales manager at music streaming company Pandora for almost two years. Pandora ceased operating in Australia in July this year.
Detch Singh, co-founder and co-CEO at Hypetap, said: “More brands are understanding the value of influencer marketing and now looking to implement more sophisticated and long-term campaigns. Having someone on board with Nick’s experience, as well as Naz, will allow us to continue this growth and ensure we’re delivering bigger and better campaigns for our clients.”
Hypetap works with agencies and brands including Holden, Colgate, Uber, Disney, Nestle, Deliveroo, Carat and Dentsu X.
