Icon Agency opens new office following strong 2020
Following growth throughout 2020, and reporting a continuing trend in Q1 2021, Icon Agency has expanded its Sydney operations, opening a new office in Jones Bay Wharf, Pyrmont.
The agency has reported double digit growth in the past 12 months, following the addition of 20 new clients, major projects and new contracts with the Department of Home Affairs, Schneider Electric, ADP, the Alcohol and Drug Foundation, the Victorian Government and Global Victoria.
Icon Agency managing director, Joanne Painter, said: “The expansion of our Sydney team and move to new offices in Pyrmont is an exciting milestone in Icon’s national expansion program.”

Icon Agency new hires
Icon increased staff numbers by over 20% in 2020, in line with its expanded client roster. Since January, the agency has added a further 11 new hires to its digital, creative, PR and planning teams.
Painter added: “We’re excited by the fantastic array of new projects and retained accounts we’ve secured in the last year and are on track for continued strong growth in 2021.”
Icon also introduced new workplace cultural programs, including Icon Academy, fully flexible working arrangements, expanded leave arrangements and ‘Beach-bum January’, an initiative which grants employees a weekly 2pm finish to enjoy summer weather.
