I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here wins entertainment as Nine takes Wednesday

Ten’s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here won entertainment on Wednesday night however it was Nine which celebrated another overall network share win.

The program aired to an average audience of 568,000 metro viewers, while Nine News won key advertising demos, 18-49, and 25-54. Nine News at 6:30 won demo, 16-39.

Next in entertainment was the night session of the Australian Open which saw 474,000 metro viewers tune in, followed by the late night session which had 473,000 metro viewers.

Ten’s The Project 7pm was next, pulling in 407,000 metro viewers, while Seven’s The Chase Australia had 444,000 metro viewers.

Sevens’ Cricket Big Bash League, a game which saw Hobart Hurricanes lose against Melbourne Renegades, aired to 291,000 metro viewers.

The #1 program on Wednesday was Seven News which aired to 1.011 million metro viewers, while Seven News at 6:30 had 928,000 metro viewers, and Nine News on 887,000.

As mentioned, Nine won the night, taking an overall network share of 30.6 over Seven’s 25.9%, while Ten had a 19.9% share, and the ABC took a 14.8% share.

Nine also won the primary channel share, and the top-rating multi-channel on Wednesday was 7TWO with a share of 4.1%.

In the latest Daily Consolidated Total TV Report for 12 January, Seven News was the #1 program nationally across linear, with 1.529 million viewers, including 32,000 on BVOD and an uplift of 2%.

The program with the biggest uplift however was an episode of Ten’s Bull with an uplift of 26% and had a total of 362,000 viewers overall, and BVOD audience of 11,000 nationally.
