Impressive hires head of digital Marc Charlery

Digital agency Impressive has hired Marc Charlery as head of digital in Melbourne.

Charlery’s appointment comes as the agency is working towards the launch of ‘Impressive 2.0’. He will be focused on refining the agency’s product offering and will introduce new training modules for the team.

Charlery has joined Impressive

Charlery joins from Quantcast where he was a senior account director. He has spent time at iProspect, MEC and Group M.

Impressive founder and CEO, Robert Tadros, said: “As we navigate our way to becoming the most recognised independent agency in Australia, we continue to grow the country’s largest team of in-house digital specialists. I felt that now more than ever, there was a need to bring in a well-versed, and multi-disciplined leader to grow, train, and nurture our team.

“We focus on delivering strategic solutions rather than just ‘selling a service’. Marc’s role will pull together our already strong digital competencies, as he comes to us with a wealth of experience, and a clear understanding of the business and our objectives.”

Charlery said he was impressed by the drive of Tadros and the agency team.

“What impressed me – pardon the pun –  the most was not the unprecedented growth of the business over the last four years, nor the excellent and collaborative culture that’s manifested during that time. It was the desire of Rob and the rest of the business to continue to iterate an already successful model, improving results for our clients,” Charlery said.

“Once it became clear that our visions for customer success were so clearly aligned, it was an easy decision to make. I’m extremely excited to join this team and have high hopes around our journey to Impressive 2.0.”

In February, Impressive hired Theodora Alex as head of client services in Melbourne.
