“We are genuinely excited to support the Salvos” said Whooshkaa’s Content & Marketing Director

Corey Layton. “Podcast advertising already drives solid results and engagement for advertisers, it will have the same effect for the Salvos in their Red Shield Appeal, raising funds for those in need”.

“Podcast listeners are far more engaged and deliberately aware of why they are listening and what they are listening to – something that advertisers have known for a long time” said Osher Günsberg.

“I am grateful to Whooshkaa for putting their support behind this fundraising initiative for The Salvos”.

The Salvation Army’s Communications & Fundraising Director Leigh Cleave said “the Salvos are thrilled to have Osher and Whooshkaa come on board to support this year’s Red Shield Appeal.

“The Salvos cannot do this alone. If we are going to meet the growing demand on our services, we will need as much help as we can get. We are incredibly grateful that Whooshkaa and this great line up of Australian podcasters have lent us a hand.

Their support will go a long way in helping The Salvation Army give hope where it’s needed most.”
