Indies unite: Pearman acquires Mediasmiths

Independent media agencies, Pearman Media and MediaSmiths have come together in a deal with the former acquiring the latter. It is understood the two agencies will now operate under the Pearman name.

Managing director of Pearman, Dominic Pearman said MediaSmiths has built a “strong business over the past 15 years with terrific clients”, and that he has worked with the agency’s Angela and Mike Smith for many years, including their current, and founding spots on the board of the IMAA.

Pearman has been a valuable partner of ours and this is a fantastic opportunity for our clients who will continue to work with the same MediaSmiths staff, but enjoy greater access to resources such as Roy Morgan, OzTam, attribution modelling, and a bespoke Digital Dashboard.”

The two agencies said the existing client list will benefit from expanded resources.
