Influencer website Husskie expands its offering to lifestyle and culture

Influencer-focused website Husskie has extended its initial beauty and and fashion offering adding lifestyle and culture.

‘The Lifestyle Pack’ offering of www.husskie.com

The two new categories called ‘The Lifestyle Pack’ and ‘The Culture Pack’ will include posts with influencers involved in health, wellness, travel, food, art and photography.

The website launched in November last year by former Beauty Directory editor and journalist Yelena Fairfax, who told Mumbrella she has extended herself outside of her comfort zone.

“Because I have been an editor in both the fashion publication and in beauty, it’s where I was the most comfortable and most of my contacts has come through there, so that’s why I decided to launch in with fashion and beauty.

“Since launch, I’ve been approached by a lot of travel and health influencers and then I have also talked to a lot of successful photographers that have utilised social media to gain a following there,” she said.

“I have since expanded on the offering in the lifestyle and culture section and have rolled that out in the last week, and if you go to the lifestyle section you’ll now have a place where it features all the health influencers and the lifestyle influencers – such as travel and food influencers.”

Influencers on www.husskie.com‘s ‘The Lifestyle Pack’ include Caroline Groth, Stephanie Gilmore, Alex Hayes, Anna Heinrich and Elyse Knowles.

While those on ‘The Culture Pack’ consist of Megan Hess, Culture Machine and Jeremy Cowart.

The two new pillars will sit at the top of the page next to the existing Home, Win, The Fashion Pack and The Beauty Pack tabs.

Fairfax said the new categories provide the website with new advertising opportunities for brands.

“Its definitely a new category in which I can talk to, I have already seen brands in those categories come and chat to me,” she said.

“Definitely having expanded the categories does obviously open up more commercial doors.”
