Ingrid Just moves to Choice
Online consumer organisation Choice has appointed former ABC journalist Ingrid Just into the role of media manager.
The announcement:
CHOICE, the independent consumer advocacy group, has appointed award-winning journalist Ingrid Just as its Media Manager replacing interim media spokesman, Brad Schmitt.
Moving from her role as General Manager at S2i Communications in Sydney, Ingrid’s appointment with CHOICE is effective October 25. Ingrid brings a solid background in media having presented state-wide and national networked programs at the ABC, written for APN News Media and more recently, managed media and communications for high profile corporate, health and not-for-profit organizations.
Ingrid will be joining the communications and campaigns team to develop and grow CHOICE’s media profile. Ingrid will be the new face of CHOICE as the consumer group seeks to extend its reach and influence.
“I’m very much looking forward to taking up this new challenge with CHOICE. It is vital that consumers are provided with independent and accurate information in order to make the right decision in what has become a very brand saturated market” says Ingrid.
While well-known media spokesperson for CHOICE, Christopher Zinn, will still have media presence, his main focus will concentrate more on developing CHOICE’s ongoing strategy and campaign work.
