Isobar appoints Dave Budge as ECD

Isobar has appointed Dave Budge ad executive creative director.

The announcement:

Following a global search, Isobar has appointed Dave Budge to the role of Executive Creative Director, Australia.

Budge was the Creative Director with the original Visual Jazz Isobar team after which he spent five years directing film, television and digital content before re-joining Isobar in January this year.

In his role as ECD, Dave will steer the creative direction of Isobar and has a firm vision for the future of the agency. “At Isobar, we’ve always been about tackling the most complex problems in the digital space and ensuring our clients’ stories are engaging. With digital now at the heart of a brand’s business our job is more important than ever. I’m looking forward to being part of a team who knows how to think big and deliver.”

Isobar’s Managing Director, Konrad Spilva, is thrilled to have Dave back in the fold. Speaking of the appointment he said, “Dave is one of the originals from the Visual Jazz Isobar family and it’s fantastic to have him back in the Isobar team. Whilst the agency has gone through considerable growth and change over the last five years, we still have the same values and culture and Dave has always been a huge part of that.”

Dave has directed and produced commercials and content for David Jones, Holden and Samsung. He directed the television series Back of House and has produced a number of feature films including Austin to Boston, Ukraine is Not a Brothel and the Tribeca Award-winning Grey Matter. In his spare time he directs the popular live performance series Sideshow Alley in Melbourne and New York City.
