JCDecaux expands network across Australia

Out of home (OOH) company JCDecaux has expanded its network, with sixteen new large format sites across Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide.

Of the sixteen, fourteen are new builds, while two have been converted from classic billboards to digital.

The billboard are strategically positioned in high-traffic locations to deliver maximum exposure and creative flexibility, in order to impact and engage a larger roadside audience – as cars are the most popular mode of transport in every state*.

Sam Noble, JCDecaux’s national product director, large format, said these sites offer brands the opportunity to create head-turning moments.

“Our expanded network will deliver even more opportunities for brands to leverage key locations and main arterials to drive coverage, viewability and impact,” Noble said.

In Sydney, sites have been added at key commuter routes at Homebush Bay Drive, in Rhodes, and the M4 Motorway at Sydney Olympic Park. These sites have been released as part of the company’s contract with Sydney Trains.

Melbourne has five new sites, including at Swan Street, and Punt Road, near the Melbourne Cricket Ground.

In Brisbane, two billboards have been added — one at Abbotsford Road in Albion — while in Adelaide, one s sits at 230 Brighton Road, Somerton Park – one of the city’s busiest arterials.
