Jimmy Brings and Spotify pair wine with music in new campaign
Alcohol delivery service Jimmy Brings is pairing a wine range with songs found on Spotify, as part of a marketing push to celebrate the launch of three limited edition wines.
The ‘Songmelier Edition’ range features an Australian sparkling, a Sauvignon Blanc and Reserve Shiraz. A campaign video sees Jimmy Brings founders David Berger and Nathan Besser with TV personality Kate Peck, sitting together working out which wines to partner with which music.
Wine lovers are also able to scan the code on the wine glass label and use the Spotify application to listen to the songs. Music genres include ‘Bubblegum Trap, ‘Aussietronica’, ‘Chillwave’, and ‘Electrofox’.
The campaign has been put together by Eleven PR.
Jimmy Brings co-founder, Nathan Besser, said the new addition to the company’s offering gives customers everything they need for a night of hosting friends – “perfectly paired wines and music”.
Sophie Paterson, head of communications at Spotify Australia and New Zealand, said the it will allow Australians to discover new sounds and genres while enjoying the wines.
“Great music and great wine go hand in hand, so it was only right we brought the two together in this unique way,” Paterson said.
The Songmelier Edition is available to order via the Jimmy Brings app, via phone or online in both Sydney and Melbourne.
