Johnson’s Baby Facebook initiative allows parents to chat to nurses
Media agency OMD and digital agency Profero have created a Facebook initiative which allows consumers on the Johnson’s Baby page to live chat to registered nurses from Tresillian Family Care Centres.
The announcement:
JOHNSON’S® Baby and Tresillian Family Care Centres are excited to announce the launch of TRESILLIAN LIVE ADVICE on the 20th September 2010.
TRESILLIAN LIVE ADVICE is a free online service on the JOHNSON’S® Baby More Loving Moments Facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/MoreLovingMoments?v=app_6009294086&ref=ts)
in which parents can go online and confidentially talk through any parenting questions or issues that they may have with one of Tresillian’s registered nurses.
Haley McDonald, Senior Brand Manager JOHNSON’S® Baby says, “We are excited to be partnering with Tresillian to launch TRESILLIAN LIVE ADVICE for all parents on Facebook. JOHNSON’S® Baby has a long standing relationship with Tresillian and recognises the important role that Tresillian plays in helping parents learn how to nurture and care for their baby.”
We understand that becoming a parent for the first time is an exciting time in your life however we also understand that a new baby in the family also has its challenges. Now when your baby won’t stop crying, when breastfeeding seems impossible or when you can’t get your baby to sleep you can just logon and message a Tresillian nurse for instant advice.
JOHNSON’S® Baby has chosen to partner with Tresillian Family Care Centres, the largest child and family health care organization of its kind in Australia. Tresillian health professionals help families in the early years of their child’s life by providing advice and ongoing support. For more information on Tresillian visit their website www.tresillian.net.
“For over ninety years Tresillian has been advising families with young children and we see this as another way of reaching out to families in an area where they spend a lot of time – on the internet. It will revolutionise how parents access child and family health advice and we’re confident it will be very well received by families,” said David Hannaford, General Manager of Tresillian Family Care Centre.
This exciting online, instant messaging service is available Monday to Friday from 9:00am – 3:30pm. For positive, practical and confidential advice on caring for your baby go online to the JOHNSON’S® Baby More Loving Moments Facebook page and become a fan to talk with a Tresillian registered nurse now.
On a final note we would like to thank both OMD and Profero for working with us to bring this exciting new initiative to life.
