Justine Sywak exits dentsu Creative
Justine Sywak has stepped down as general manager, Melbourne of Cox Inall, part of dentsu Creative.
Sywak’s departure comes after the PR and behavioural change agency was absorbed in the dentsu Creative restructure earlier this year.
In an announcement shared to LinkedIn, Sywak wrote: “Almost six years ago, Rob Belgiovane, Paul Williams & Jamie Mackay (BWM) and Tim Powell supported me in building a Behaviour Change PR agency for social good, working with domestic and international governments, NFPs and corporates on life-changing campaigns.”
Sywak continued: “It’s been an honour to build an outstanding team of young leaders and go-getters, some who have left and spread their wings, others who will step up into the space I leave behind. Thank you to my extraordinary team for all that you have taught me.”
“The time is right for me to embark on a new challenge now and to continue my learning. I leave with fond memories and plenty of laughs, I am grateful for my time at Cox Inall Change-Dentsu Creative PR and for all the wonderful people I got to work with there,” she concluded.
Sywak joined Cox Inall as Melbourne general manager in 2016 following the dentsu PR merger which saw the Dentsu Aegis Network consolidate its PR brands under BWM Dentsu, with Haystac to handle consumer communications and Cox Inall to be the group’s specialist PR brand. Both PR brands were later announced to be retiring, to be absorbed under the dentsu Creative umbrella in the second half of 2022.
