Kate & Co appoints Virgin Australia alum Kieran Debney

Public relations agency Kate & Co has hired Kieran Debney as a senior account manager.

Debney’s appointment follows her return to Australia from the UK where she was a PR specialist for Virgin Atlantic. Previously, she spent four-and-a-half years in public affairs for Virgin Australia.

Debney joins Kate & Co after five years with Virgin businesses

At Virgin Australia, Debney led the PR campaign for the airline’s first flight to Japan and worked on the media strategy for the first meditation flight with founder Richard Branson. Whilst with Virgin Atlantic, Debney worked on the crisis response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
