Khemistry promotes Michelle Tungate to CXO and Lindsay Thompson to CD

Brisbane-based agency Khemistry has made two new promotions appointing Michelle Tungate to CXO and Lindsay Thompson to creative director.

Tungate was previously the general manager of Khemistry for over six years.

Tungate said she is looking forward to changing the experience for clients

“For business leaders to future-proof their companies, they need to make choice easy, and make their brands the easy choice. It’s that simple,” Tungate said in a statement.

“Making choice easy has transformative outcomes if you know how to combine creativity, branding, digital solutions and the right process architecture to sustain competitive advantage.”

Thompson was previously the head of creative for two years and three months. He has also previously worked at agencies including Clemenger BBDO Brisbane and SapientNitro.

Thompson has already started as creative director

Andy Fyffe, managing partner at Khemistry, said in a statement: “Michelle’s commercial acumen has been intrinsic to Khemistry’s growth and success over the past six years. Now that she’s added a ‘transformation degree’ to her toolkit with QUT’s Masters of Business Process Management, she’s more than ready for the CXO role.

“Similarly, I have seen Lindsay apply his extensive experience from tenures at Y&R, SapientNitro and ClemengerBBDO to create award-winning campaigns for our clients, so I am excited to see what he can achieve in this new role.”
