Two year-old Sydney marketing agency Kinetic has opened a Melbourne office.
Kinetic Melbourne will be led by account director Simon Pimm, and launches off the back of below the line relationships with Carlton United Breweries and Tata Global Beverages, which owns Tetley tea.
The agency will be based on Lonsdale Street, in the city’s CBD.
Kinetic, which started in 2010 by a team of three, now has 30 staff operating in marketing, design, production and digital.
Kinetic’s Sydney MD Mark Livings told Mumbrella: “In our first year in Melbourne we’re looking to consolidate the business we’ve got, and keep service levels high. Beyond that, we hope to pick up some new clients and push the business on.”
Pimm, who joins after a ten-year stint at promotional agency Immediate, added: “The prospect of working with a young, vibrant and highly creative team was hard to refuse and the opportunity that presents itself in Melbourne for us is really exciting.”
“The fit for Kinetic and myself was perfect given their existing FMCG and alcohol client base here in Melbourne and the areas of growth the business plans to pursue will assist in establishing a Melbourne office that is as equally dynamic as Sydney,” he said.
