Klaviyo announces major appointment for its APAC managing director role

Marketing technology company Klaviyo has hired Suzy Nicoletti (ex-Twitter and Google boss) to serve as its managing director for the Asia Pacific.

The announcement:

Klaviyo, a leader in the marketing technology industry, today announced the appointment of Suzy Nicoletti as its managing director for the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region.

Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, Nicoletti, a seasoned technology and marketing executive, with more than 20 years experience with significant tenures at global technology giants Google and Twitter, offers a rich blend of experience and proven capabilities in scaling customer bases and global organisations.

Nicoletti’s appointment underscores Klaviyo’s commitment to continued growth and expansion following its successful initial public offering (IPO) in September. According to Justin Khaksar, Kalviyo’s SVP international, Nicoletti’s track record as a growth leader makes her the right person to take on the task.

Her appointment signifies Klaviyo’s commitment to growing its reach across APAC, innovation, and helping brands continue to evolve”.

Nicoletti said, the move to Klaviyo was centred around the Klaviyo’s proven and strong value proposition for its customers which is underpinned by its mission to power smarter digital relationships between brands and their customers.

Under Nicoletti’s leadership, Klaviyo will aim to strengthen its presence and customer reach across APAC. This builds upon Klaviyo’s already significant presence in the region, with international sales accounting for 31% of its revenue in the first half of 2023.

Nicoletti’s will focus on enabling brands across APAC to use Klaviyo’s intelligent marketing automation platform to turn customer data into faster growth. This approach, which moves away from reliance on ad networks and marketplaces, aims for a more sustainable and personalised growth model, aligning with the region’s evolving market dynamics.
