KPMG’s customer, brand and marketing advisory names Jenny Roche as partner in addition to three senior hires

KPMG’s customer, brand and marketing advisory has made four senior appointments, including Jenny Roche as partner.

Roche joins from EY, where she led the customer advisory practice nationally, and previously spent 15 years at Telstra, including as head of customer experience.

“We are delighted to add Jenny to our senior leadership team. She brings a unique perspective and unrivalled experience in helping organisations re-align towards their customer needs,” said partner-in-charge of the customer, brand and marketing advisory, Amanda Hicks, who was promoted to the role in October.

Roche said that KPMG’s blend of consulting, in-house and agency experience made the position an attractive one.

“In this world of change, one thing is constant; to drive sustainable growth, organisations must understand customers and structure their organisations to deliver to their ever-evolving needs. To make the right strategic decisions, now more than ever organisations need a true 360-degree view of their customer,” she said.

“I’m excited to be joining KPMG where the team brings the best of consulting, in-house and agency experience. As we move into 2020, our goal is to empower our clients to be truly customer-centric organisations.”

Roche is joined by directors Amrita Bhattacharyya and Jinglu McLay, who joined the Melbourne team last year, and Samantha Clark, who began this week in Brisbane.

Bhattacharyya joins from Suncorp, where she was head of customer strategy and experience design. McLay was previously at Nous Group, where she was a director of business and digital strategy. And Clark moves across from Super Retail Group, at which she was group general manager of marketing operations.

“With the addition of Amrita, Jinglu and Sam on the back of organic growth in 2019, we have an expanded national senior CBMA team that combines significant in-house experience with in-depth consulting know-how,” Hicks said.

That CBMA team is set to grow to more than 130 people nationally, with the consultancy primed to add 12 new roles in the team across Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide.
