Kyle Sandilands labels Ray Hadley and Pedestrian TV ‘piece of shit’ over Intern Pete attacks
Kiis FM breakfast co-host Kyle Sandilands has labelled 2GB radio host Ray Hadley and Pedestrian TV both pieces of “shit”, following their criticism of the show’s producer Peter Deppeler over the weekend.
Deppeler – known on the Kyle & Jackie O Show as ‘Intern Pete’ – was heavily criticised for his stunt during former Australian cricket captain Steve Smith’s tearful press conference. As an emotional Smith apologised for his role in the ball tampering scandal, Deppeler asked a rambling question, telling Smith his behaviour wasn’t as bad as contestants on Nine’s reality TV show Married At First Sight.

Whilst I don’t agree with what Intern Pete did, Steve Smith deserves no compassion – he is a cheat and has ruined the integrity of Australian cricket.
With a mouth like a dirty toilet bowl, what else can you expect to hear from a knob like Sandilands!!
On behalf or all dirty toilet bowls I take offense at that comparison.
Kyle and Jacki O have developed a reputation for cheap and offensive stunts. These clowns chose Smith’s lowest point to further humiliate him publicly. The hypocrisy is the ferocious manner in which they defend media criticism of their faux pas, of which there are too many to list.
As expected, the Old White Guard of Australian ‘media’ strolls in to declare Smith to be the victim in this mess.
Hear hear
Intern Pete and ugly Kyle are the pieces of shit in all of this. They’ve again confirmed what we’ve all known. Very terrible humans
This stunt is a yet another cheap attention grab at ratings.
Poor Intern Pete, I thought what he said was quite funny!
From Hadley to Smith to Pedestrian to Sandilands…
There are no winners here.
TIme for a hot shower.
While it’s only cricket and only a game, it was a serious moment in that sphere. That it had/has taken on some greater meaning points to a large section of thin skin in the Australian psyche, but that’s not for today.
The question I have is how a show like Kyle & Jackie O actually has the journalistic credentials to be there in the first place? They produce a particular brand of entertainment that has an audience and a market, but I’m surprised that’s enough to get a representative from their show in that room.
There should always be room for alternative views and hard questions, but this situation shows the jeopardy in allowing as much.
Sanderlands is basically an illiterate with an IQ that would barely makes double digits. Henderson is a vacuous, shallow enabler who is along for the ride and the money. Both have no moral compass. No decency. No humanity. It’s high time that corporate Australia took a stand against these oxygen thieves and stopped advertising during their brain dead, valueless broadcast.
If Vile Kyle and Wacky Jackie are giving you a gob-full, you’ve probably said something right. Bottom feeder radio presented by bottom feeders for bottom feeders.
So basically, a loud mouth [Edited under Mumbrella’s comment moderation policy]
This proves once again that Kyle and Jackie O are pathetic and will do anything for a cheap stunt. Their show is baseline humour. It is insulting smut and innuendo. It is lowbrow. And I listen to them every morning on the way to work because this duo actually make me smile at 7am.
Not to come out on either side in regard to Kyle or Ray (they’re both tools) I must say I was amused by intern Pete’s stunt. It evoked Shades of Norman Gunston and the times when more people had a sense of humour.
Comparing the purile and pathetic attempt at humour of Peter Deppeler aka Intern Pete with the comic genius of Gary McDonald aka Norman Gunston – now that is funny.
I could be wrong (I’m not) but didn’t the K&J show re-hire their producer after he was sacked for 4 years for making jokes straight after the Colorado mass shooting in the US? This latest fuck up seems pretty tame compared to that.
Do you know what…? Atleast K&J dont talk shit and dont take shit. I would rather listen to real and honest people who speak their mind rather than some idiots who just agree with the general public or try to create a story over something so insignificant… It seems most Australians dont want to remember the real issue here.
People still listen to the radio…?
I went to a cricket match in 1970. First and last time. Generations of Australian leadership in sledging, deserves Kyle and Jackie O to hit just as low, as the penalties metered out by CA are just too light. Rough form of justice, but appropriate.
If “Intern Pete” is worried about threats – dont worry there are worse threats on ‘My Kitchen Rules’ eh Kyle.
See how funny it is!!
And is ‘that the only experience you’ve had?’ You [Edited under Mumbrella’s comment moderation policy] . Pete and your entire crew [Edited under Mumbrella’s comment moderation policy]
