Kym Pfitzner appointed COO of Dentus Aegis

Communications firm Dentsu Aegis has announced the appointment of Kym Pfitzner as chief operating officer for its Australia and New Zealand operations.

Dentsu Aegis Network, the first truly global communications network for the digital age, has appointed Kym Pfitzner as Chief Operating Officer in Australia and New Zealand.
Kym joins Dentsu Aegis Network’s ANZ team from Shanghai, where for the past two years he has acted as COO for Dentsu Aegis Network China and Head of M&A for the group across APAC.

He first joined Aegis Media in 2003 as Regional CFO and Director of Corporate Development for APAC, a position he held until taking on his most recent role in Shanghai.

During this time, Kym played an integral role in several significant acquisitions within the region. He has held a number of corporate, operational and finance roles within Australia and APAC throughout his career.

Kym will take responsibility for some corporate functions for Dentsu Aegis Network ANZ and will continue to hold a regional role as Head of M&A for Dentsu Aegis Network APAC. He joins Dentsu Aegis Network ANZ from 14th July.
